The course starts with basic phonetics and grammar, ensuring accurate pronunciation and fundamental communication skills. Students will build their vocabulary through interactive methods, covering daily life, work, and study topics. Emphasizing listening, speaking, reading, and writing, the course develops well-rounded language abilities. Cultural elements from Spain and Latin America are integrated to deepen understanding and appreciation. SPANISH LANGUAGE LEVELS
CEFR stands for Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which is a set of language learning and assessment standards recommended by the European Commission. It covers all major European languages, including Spanish.
The CEFR levels for Spanish are divided into six levels, from beginner A1 to advanced C2. Each level has clear language skill descriptors, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These descriptors can help students and teachers understand the language skills and abilities they should have, and can be used for evaluating and certifying language proficiency.
In the Spanish CEFR standard, A1 and A2 levels are suitable for beginners, B1 and B2 levels are suitable for intermediate learners, while C1 and C2 levels are suitable for advanced learners. Students can demonstrate their language proficiency at a certain CEFR level by taking an exam.

Ms. Mariana Mejia Ocampo is a passionate and creative Spanish Teacher. She holds a Teaching Spanish as a Second Language (ELE) Certificate. With over 10 years of experience teaching Spanish to students of all ages and backgrounds. Ms. Mariana has taught in online, group, and one-to-one settings, helping her students to improve their language skills and confidence in communication.
